Should I join Shopee
I have recently got an offer from Shopee Singapore. I do not have idea about salaries in Singapore & Shopee. I wanted few suggestions over the negotiation points i can make. Below is the offer they made : 1. 7500 SGD/ MONTH + yearly Performance bonus of upto 3 months salary 2. They have not given any stock options. I was surprised on this. Does shopee not offer stock options? 3. Their relocation package is only 1500 SGD. *Note : I have around 7 years of experience. Please help me out here. I am thinking of negotiating on increasing my fixed component and offering the stock options. #Shopee #backendengineer

Yeah. It was quite surprising for me as well. I dont know whether they forget to mention it or skipped it on purpose. I am thinking of discussing this with them as at my current job i did get the stocks not only at the joining but also at the appraisal if the performance review is good.
Yea you should check with them. If there’s no stock then it ain’t a good offer
Salary is too low, dont join and ready to work late nights if you're going for backend role Ask for atleast 9000 for 7 years of experience

7500 pm is a decent salary here in Singapore. But, the relocation bonus seems to be too low. Usually, other big companies like Grab offer a relocation bonus of 7-8k. You can negotiate for a higher relocation bonus.
