Telling from my personal experience if you have to travel to different cities don't do it. I recently did all my onsites in a week and had to travel to NYC, seattle. It was tiring.
That’s what I have always done. It is harder with travel assume, but being in the bay area, that was never a problem.
Interviews are exhausting, that many sounds terrible. 2 in a week I could do, but a MWF run is probably the max I’d do and I’d only do hat if I had no other choice. 4 in a week, absolutely not.
Spread it out. If you mess up the first few interviews, you'll have some time to reflect and correct your mistakes before your next interview.
Spread it towards end of week and early-mid next week.. 2 per week is reasonable, I once had 4 in a week and felt terrible and exhausted
Schedule one onsite in the morning and another one in the afternoon.
I did 3-4 in a week and it was a mistake. Interviews are very tiring. 2 a week at the most.
How do you get all that time off from your current job?
It is easier to take a week off than take 2 days every week. I said i am going on vacation.
I’m curious what strategies people use too. Do you take vacation time or a sick day for interviews? How does someone with a full time job do more than a few interviews simultaneously?
