I’m not in a 420 friendly state; I’m really curious how those in Bay and Colorado treat this topic in professional settings. I’ve drank several times with coworkers and had a blast, wondering if the same can take place with the weed. Outside working hours of course.
In my experience it can vary by industry, with tech companies (obviously) a little more open about it than others. Despite being legal, it is still not as widely accepted as having a drink. Though I have smoked with colleagues before at someone’s home, or at a dab lounge.
I don’t smoke during work hours, as I feel it’s a bit disrespectful. Although, you could make the argument it’s totally fine, because we literally have 8 taps open all the time.
Lol it's super chill in California at least. Smoked with a bunch of co-workers, even my manager. I've heard a variety of drug stories (from people you wouldn't expect) during work trips. It's fine
I’ve smoked up with a bunch of my old coworkers. Unfortunately, team composition is now older, a lot of family people, so it doesn’t really happen anymore.
I’ve been at startups where they ate edibles during happy hour. It isn’t widely accepted, so I’ve never seen it happen at larger companies. But it’s not something I’ve ever seen done anywhere other than end of day/ after work.
Last time I heard, pot smokers go to hell... isn’t that still the case or what?
Well duh, but he's just asking about stuff before that. Light 'er up OP!
Tons of people at Reddit use weed, but rare to see or hear about it in the office aside from 420 memes.
Smoking weed is degenerate behavior and will rot your brain.
Lol tell that to my GPA.
I bet I can leetcode better than you high. And I graduated in 4 yrs with my bachelor's + masters + 3.9GPA. Please don't be so close minded.
