I have one more semester of college left, before starting my career as SWE. Life up to now was focused mostly on career. Now that I have a couple of offers in hand and pretty much set post-graduation, I want to enjoy my last remaining semester at college. What are some stuff you wish you had done as a student, that you can't do as an adult?
Catch your last uninterrupted time to build muscle. Don't waste a second. You'll make a difference. And maybe pick up a martial art like BJJ or Muay Thai.
Good point, I'll find a trainer
Bang some freshmen
Unfortunately have been & still dating someone throughout college 😂
You're already ahead of 90% of newgrads then. Now experiment with some drugs (not the types that will ruin your life) with your mates. Shit gets harder to find out of school. ;)
Go backpacking through Asia AND Europe before starting work
A lot of people suggested this but I'm not really the travelling kind... Do you still think it's worth it?
Yes it is! It's not about traveling. It's about learning and experiencing and living. Take at least 2 months to work your way slowly across southeast Asia. You'll grow in ways you never even thought of. Take a couple months to travel by ground only from Helsinki to Southern Greece. Try to stay on the east side of the Iron curtain. You'll be blown away.
You can do everything you do as a student as a full timer just in smaller doses because you have less time off. So just take more advantage of your free time by ditching class as much as possible while still getting good grades.
3some.
Sleep with the people you work with
Nap.
Yes good point, I'll take regular naps
