They won’t share market data - please help me level the playing field. Title: Sr. Director Walmart / Walmart Labs Bonus: 35% Equity: $175K / yr They want to know what Base I “want” or “need”. I’m thinking of proposing $300K, which would give a total of $580K. Too high? Too low? Just right? Thank you!

300k sounds about right but equity is low for sr Director. This sounds more like sir.manager level equity. Given the low equity I'm not sure if you can get over 250 in base. Goodluck

175 vesting over 4 ? to get year TC of 580, base would need to be 497. However at this equity grant, base is more likely going to be around 250. So TC around 380. Google L6 makes about this much. 4 levels of inflation? That does not make sense. Are you such this is SD ? Directing what ? sheep ?
They do offer the 175k over 4 but they refresh it annually.
Michalimni, I am not sure if the annual grant is guaranteed or tied to performance. A yearly refresher is pretty standard at Google and FB as well. I am just surprised at the title inflation. Google PM ladder and TC estimates, yearly refresh not included. L4 PM > L5 PM > L6 PM > L7 PM > L7.5 GPM > L8 SD L6 300 - 450 L7 400 - 600 L7.5 550 - 750 L8 700 -$1M+
