Stability & Peace vs Money?
As many H1Bs(mostly Indians) stuck in long queue to become a permanent resident in the US. If given a option would you move to Canada just for stability even though you will get 40% pay cut? Pros to moving to Canada Your wife will be able to work freely. Your kids will have not phase out when they are 21. If you want you will be able to open your own business some day. No more complex Visa documents every time you enter or leave country. No more temporary status and be at mercy of USCIS to approve your H1B every 3 years. Cons Less money. Might affect your career as most cutting edge work happens in the US.
What about going back go India? You’ll get all of them with low CoL.
If you are a woman or if you have a daughter, then the 'peace' aspect goes out of the window in India.

You're forgetting that Canada is cold and you have to shovel your driveway and car at least three months out of a year.
Stability brings peace and peace brings money and prosperity. You decide. Location is one aspect for bringing money but if this is true then no one else in the world is going to be rich. Think outside the box.
