Yet another reason why you're paying $2500 for a Bay Area studio 🤑 https://reason.com/2019/06/07/union-sues-over-approval-of-1000-unit-silicon-valley-housing-project-arguing-buildings-shiny-windows-will-kill-too-many-birds/
Since when we care about bird?
i am with 🐦s
This says it all .... Back in January, the developer Icon sued LIUANA Local 300, alleging that the union had used frivolous CEQA complaints to delay one of the company's L.A.-area projects until Icon agreed to hire all-union labor. This practice, Icon's suit contends, violates federal racketeering laws.
Why would the construction worker union protest against construction? Because they care about birds. Lol.
Keep construction low! Don't block my view.
This helps us, how does it stick it?
Anything that harms the environment with an obvious alternative—like non shiny windows— should never have been approved! Good job 👏👏👏
The Bay Area is messed up, I am leaving soon back to NYC.
Silicon Valley is already over populated—expand elsewhere in the neighbourhood but we definitely need not make this a congested slum like NYC or London
I prefer to live in those “slums” that having a 3 hour daily commute 🤷♂️
There are better options —companies can set up satellite offices all around, better public transit etc You definitely don’t want to live in those concrete over populated jungles
More worried about the birds than their own citizens!
