I'm on a two week sprint interviewing with a bunch of companies (fangs + a few startups). Done two so far. I'm interviewing for applied/data/ml/research scientist roles. So far I'm getting 1/2 coding sessions per loop. They don't even spend a full session on coding. I feel like I wasted so much time solving LC in the last month (150 mostly top interview/liked questions). Were the last two anamolies? Pretty sure it'll look different at Google for example next week.
If it was a Google SWE role I got like two leets per round for 5 rounds lol
What are the roles you applied for at each of the companies ... if the title is data scientists yes you will be asked sql and a/b testing and ml algorithms ... if itโs a SWE role there will be coding , design too
Good, stop supporting mindfuck tools like LC.
If you applied for an ml role then why will they ask you coding questions ? Maybe 1 to just see if youโre illiterate in front of a computer
@OP What have your interview sessions been covering?
behavioral, ml, cv, design/coding.
Dmโd you.
Not sure if you are humble bragging. You are not applying for a SDE role. Why arenโt you surprised that you arenโt asked to demonstrate your culinary skills?
Wait so getting asked to cook a soufflรฉ in a FAANG interview isnโt common??
Nope. Itโs more common when you are interviewing for a role as a Dalek in Dr Who
