i am looking for a engineering mgr/director of engg roles in silicon valley tech shops. what companies dont require a coding round for these roles? i have 18 yrs of experience and i am confident i will do well with behavior and system design interviews. so far only amazon is what i know of.
Uber Google Facebook LinkedIn everyone seems to need at least one coding round. What about Lyft, slack, wework?
🤦♂️
Salesforce, Tableau from my personal experience 🙂 don’t need coding.
Why would a company ask for coding in a manager interview? Especially at the higher levels? Are they expected to code?
No but still need to pass it during interview. Really odd
It depends on which technology you work on, there are no coding round for administration jobs
most of them? Unless it’s a tech lead position with some % of coding (I think google might have this)
