Hi all, I have 12+ years deploying software and am considering the more lucrative switch to technical sales engineer. I have no idea what to expect/negotiate for total comp, commission, bonus etc. Looking at companies like Salesforce, Cisco, Amazon, etc. Would have to be remote role as well if that plays a part. Anyone have any insight what would be a good starting commission for this role?
