Where would Tesla be 5 years I from now? Would it be 500 billion dollar company?
Could be, or they could go bankrupt. They lost 700million last quarter and have 2.2billion in reserves. If that doesn't scare you then buy away.
Yes
If you have gambling budget for investing, then yes. They're as likely to go bankrupt as they are to survive 5 years. Elon may be a maverick, but he doesn't like the mundane stuff that runs businesses.
Uhg don’t say that. It’s the best car I’ve ever driven and ever owned. I really don’t want them going out of business.
It may be. There are many great engineering companies that have gone bust. Apple would have disappeared 15 years ago if it wasn't for the vision and business acumen of one man.
Dude if someone knew the answer do you think, they would even come on blind?
No one knows for certainty but you can make educated prediction.
Time to buy
They might open up their self driving tech.
I’d say not yet, any rise will be slow and any bad news will drive it down fast. I think if it starts going up pick up on upward momentum, don’t try to buy at absolute low there may still be pain
I don’t they will go bankrupt. They have some good technology, they will get acquired most likely.
Sure but that might be at 10 cents on a $1
Teslanos is a zero. They are structurally unprofitable and musk has wrecked the balance sheet by bailing out his solar city investment.
Terrible comparison. Theranos didn’t have a functional product...
Theranos actually did sell blood testing. Their machine just didn’t work. Tesla is unprofitable as a car manufacturer and is attempting to sell the world on autonomy. They’ve sold Full Self Driving vaporware since 2014. Now musk is pivoting away from cars as their car business is failing and attempting to pitch robotaxis. This is fraud.
They’ll probably be acquired if it falls further.
That is what I am afraid of. Elon can always fall back to his SpaceX
SpaceX isn’t profitable either...and keeps failing to raise capital. Also who wants to acquire a company losing almost a billion a quarter with billions in debt with pending lawsuits around negligence. (And that has no technology advantage over other companies and has large useless liabilities like “giga factory”)
