Tinder as a cultural gauge
It's pretty informative to use Tinder to get a broad idea of what's on people's minds in the city you happen to be. For example, I was surprised by how explicit the profiles are in LA. Just sayin'.

In Seattle there's also the high-standards businesswomen. Some of them on tech companies without really being tech workers per se. They can be seen drinking wine (Rosé all the goddamn day), on a horse and on a yacht. They do yoga too.

Many real-looking profiles had a pic depicting a blowjob visual pun with ice cream. Another was a gal touching a penis in one of those human body diagrams. To summarize it, Santa Monica's Tinder profile set for women looked like a bachelorette party.
