At Amazon, there isn’t a lot of transparency on Levels or what each level’s total comp looks like. My goal is to demystify this, but I need your help. Post your Business Unit, title or role, Level, Salary, Bonus, and RSUs. (Me: AB, Sales, 67,000, 20,000, 100 RSUs) If this takes off, I am considering taking out a full page ad in the Seattle Times in Q2 advocating for pay transparency and a share point portal that will show what everyone makes, anonymously. We know that Amazon is growing, we are more valuable and profitable than ever, but let’s make sure we are aware or comp fits our labors! I’m posting publicly so new hires have a better idea when evaluating their Amazonian OTEs vs other offers because I wish the same was done for me. New hires, please feel free to post your offers.
For SDE at least I think we are all fairly knowledgable about comp. Especially among L4s cus they share a lot about offers online.
