SDE2: I have about 150 LCs done. Have not prepared LPs yet and just begun the sys design review. I’ve read all of CTCI sys design, I can quickly review it within 2 hours. What should I do to ensure success? I have two nights to do this. I think I can prepare the LPs within 3 hours because I’m very good at coming up with answers for behavioural stuff. How should I split up my time? And are there specific LC questions I should attempt within these two days? Thanks!
There is a youtube channel by a guy named Don Croitor, if you have any time go through them, he mainly and only? Talks about LP questions at Amazon!!
LP
What's LP?
Leadership Principles
If you're an indian, open LC and Amazon career website side by side, take a coconut, break it open in one shot and drink the water and sprinkle some over you, success will be yours.
Well, please go out and check the date. Welcome to 21st century.
If you havent prepared LP, you definitely better do it in the next two days because they grill you hard on LP. They will want specific examples to back up LP, which is hard to think of on the spot.
What’s the hardest part about LP questions?
Having enough concrete examples, you need a lot of examples to cover everything (and you also need to try not to reuse examples)
Just make sure you have 2-3 example experiences for each LP that you can instantly recall and answer probing questions on.
I had a onsite recently. They bored the hell out of me with LP. They focussed more on LP than LC The hardest part of LP will be answering the same question again and again and not get frustrated. I failed in that
Same here, I kind of froze in the middle of LP interview and wanted to end my interview. Fortunately got my strength back and answered something stupid. LP is hard.
