Uber Android/iOS interview

Folks, what to expect from mobile interview? More algorithms questions or system design? Maybe some tips what to prepare?

You'll start with a coding test. If you are an experienced mobile dev, the app itself should not be too difficult. But make good design choices. Build incrementally: don't get stuck on design and end up not done! And you'll then have a code review where you talk about your app and design choices. You'll then pair program on a feature with another dev. I had 3 DS/AL rounds (Leetcode medium/high), one systems design round and one round with the HM talking about my aspirations and goals. (I was actually asked to come back for the 3rd DS/AL round a few days later. Don't panic if this happens, it means there's still serious interest.) You'll also likely have lunch with a group of engineers or managers, so be prepared with good questions. If your recruiter has not told you all this already, ask. They are very helpful and want you to succeed. Best of luck!

What was the design round based on? Was it mobile app design?
