Uber Freight engineering manager onsite

I have an onsite for Uber Freight EM role in SF coming soon. Have a call with the recruiter to go over the details on what to expect but would love for someone from uber to shed more light on this. Done with 2 rounds of phone screen, one with the hiring manager which was more behavioral and one tech screen with another EM. Really impressed with the 2 folks I have spoken so far with. Any help is much appreciated! tc 300k yoe 10

I guess uber EMs don't use blind

What was the tech screen like?

Tech screen was mostly around past projects and trade off decisions you had to take. Current challenges that your team or company is facing. Nothing tricky if you have handled such situations before

Interesting. So a system design interview which actually tests past projects rather than something like “Design Instagram”. Was there any coding ? Do you know if this is for L5A or L5B ?

This was just a phone tech screen so probably not the best time to do an actual system design question. Also I think mine was for L5B so it might be different for L5A

How did the onsite go OP? Was the hiring manager round mostly Amazon LP questions style ? Also curious about the technical phone screen. Was it no coding and only architectural discussions ? Any white boarding ?
