User Research Role at Spotify
Wanted to know what background most people have in the User Research Team at Spotify. I'm currently a PM at Amazon and am thinking of applying. Read that the team is under Product Insights!

The backgrounds are pretty varied. From an academic perspective, the user researchers on the product insights team span human computer interaction, anthropology, psychology, and neuroscience. From a professional perspective, they've usually all had user research positions at previous employers. Decent background in research and/or data science can potentially be enough to get you an interview.
Ask them why they killed the widget on Android.
