It's not that bad. I've heared that many companies are paying in excess of 200k CAD these days for 5+ YOE, even Hootsuite a friend told me.
200k CAD is nothing compared to the compensation people are getting is Seattle. Cost of living of both cities are same, plus Canada has high taxes.
