I see there is a lot of openings in walmart ecommerce in san francisco. Hows the culture compared with Amazon? Anyone works there? Appreciate any insights.
Another IT shop
Honest question - in addition to being a morally and ethically bankrupt bank, is Wells Fargo full of such gems as yourself ?
Why you getting offended for stating Walmart as IT shop? I’m just speaking the truth
Good one 👌🏻
Im interested in the non technical roles in particular
Yes you will get tons of them in San Bruno office. All the best
The culture is amazing. As far as I know it is the best of Walmart location because you get best of both world. Work life balance for which Walmart is known and also SF life.N no crazy politics like SV office, I heard lot of crazy stuff going in there.
Whats the best way to apply? Online?
Walmart has an SF office?!
no it's SV & SB
Eh wouldn’t really recommend it
Why not? Please elaborate
What non technical role are you looking for? (marketing, category, non technical product role, etc) The data and tech systems at Walmart are very legacy which causes a lot of issues across all cross functional teams. From a product perspective, Walmart is really slow due to the number of product teams that require constant alignments, legacy processes and lack of a clear vision. Walmart also does not care about your personal wellbeing or happiness. Turnover is ridiculously high. Only positive is pay, benefits and unlimited vacation
No one works there
