Waymo verbal offer
I have a verbal offer from Waymo (TPM role - no comp yet). Few questions - 1. How does Waymo stock + options work (since it is all liquid) ? 2. Any liquidity event until now if so what happens to vested stocks in that event? 3. Is internal transfer from Waymo to Google a possibility, if so in what timeframe? Do Waymo employees go through hiring committee to be placed within Google? 4. Any indications of company becoming IPO or merging with Google? YOE: 15 TC 300
The equity is not liquid like a public company's stock, so I think it makes sense to think of it like startup equity
Curious to findout your offer details as I’m also going through interview process with them right now.

I can only answer #3 - transfers to Google now require an interview.
Is it the same as external hire, 4-5 rounds?
