@eYiX63 can you then explain why Google India offices are same HC even after operating for almost a decade? Meanwhile global headcount for Google has gone 5x. No need to go ballistic on OP because person raised a question you don't like. Also (good salary in rupees) does not necessarily equate to good job. Most such positions are golden handcuffs.
So does Amazon. The whole returns team is in India, lot of critical components of Trans. So the hq ideology isn't true. *Best* is ambiguous, define it. Do you need a good pay, or interesting tech work, or good work life balance, etc?

Multiple teams in Amazon would require you to put in more than 10 hours, as well as almost all hedge fund companies too, so they go out of the list. Google, Microsoft, Direct I would match

For the umpteenth time, FB does NOT have engineering presence in India.
Lot of Amazon teams do interesting work in India. Just make sure the team has at least an L7 mgr. WLB is non existent if you are in senior L5 or L6+ role. Amzn in India pays less than faang like it does in US. But, good work and lots of growth opportunities and an open door to US entice people in sticking with Amzn.
Is the door really that open though?
Nutanix has great work to offer and benifits, pay, culture are also great.
