I'm currently interviewing with @Docker. Would like to know more information from someone who works there
Docker is alive and well based on our revenue growth Mo/Mo. It’s been a rocky past 6 months on the product side but things are stabilizing. Can’t speak to long-term trajectory - still very much a startup.
Teams are hiring. We've lost most of our good people on practically all the teams. Obscured, if not, false info from C-levels. Political tensions are high. Not much progress on core engg work. Morale is super low. Many exits every week. Compensation package is terrible, stock practically useless.
Do you know what typical Senior Software engineer comp is? Considering making a jump
I am too. Is Docker dead?
No - far from it... but the focus has shifted a lot to “enterprise”, which is not the most interesting area from a tech POV. Making a lot more $ now, but we need to find a middle ground to make $ and work on cool stuff as well
