I have 12+ year of experience in SDE purely in MS platform. Started my master last year in Machine learning and just fell in love with it. Now I do want to pursue my carrer in it but given my age(37) do you guys think I am gonna have to start all over again in job market? Obviously companies will look for folks with experience in ML rather the office 365
ML is a great choice. You don't have to start over as ML scientist. As a software engineer working on ML, you can get good salary at great level. You can shoot for senior engineer at Microsoft.
