What tech stocks are most promising to grow like crazy in next two years?

Let's only predict which ones will grow over 50% at least. Mention why do you think that way. What cool products are lined up which will make that happen?

Amazon is already so high, will it get even higher?

You are expecting crazy growth at market top stage with flattened yield curve? You must be a newbie to the stock. Amazon and Netflix are in classical pump and dump stage with parabolic curve. Market top is the stage to sell, not to buy. Cash out all your stock and be ready to short those crazy stocks and buy the dip at market bottom.

The amount of emotion in the responses to the original comment is a clear sign he hit a nerve. Many tech stock are at crazy valuations right now (PE ratios higher than the dotcom boom pre-crash). The slightest financial bleep could send them crashing back to reality.

@MAGA.girl, I am a short trader. Shorted Tesla @369 last week and took first profit at @350. I also longed and shorted HSI index between the trading range of 29500 and 31500 many times this year. Feel free to take the opposite :)

I am also waiting for the final stage of parabolic curve in tech stocks. I will short Netflix soon.
@nom is right, everyone is moving to tech sector: tech can’t lose, tech can’t lose, tech can’t lose!

How do you define a “market top”? Because market has reached all time high many times after Oct 2013. S&P> 1600.
What you’re also not accounting is growing economies, inflation.

I’m not long tech except for my unvested equity. Also am short TSLA. Happy to be long Google if I was forced to pick a tech stock though

@chamboo, parabolic curve in January and flattened yield curve.

Market is traded based on future, not now. Those economy growth is priced in.

@MAGA.girl, I also have partial SPX short positions @2844, already took partial profit @2580. Please feel free to long SPX :)

There is only one principle in stock trading: buy low sell high.
You can’t buy low if you don’t sell high. Bond market doesn’t lie.

Again, I’m not calling it’s a bear market now, as I said, bear market doesn’t come with sudden reversal. I am pretty confident I am right based on the responses here and MAGA.girl, lol

Cloud first, mobile first. Microsoft is taking the shit out of Amazon right now in cloud and AI. It is happening right now as we write.

Where’s the data for Azure vs AWS metrics and trends? MS hasn’t disclosed specific cloud revenue for Azure and their figure includes Office 365, PowerBI and many other cloud applications. Smart money is on AWS

There’s no breakdown of Azure revenue, they’re wrapping together all cloud revenue. Yes they’re talking about Azure growth % but no actual individual numbers.

Trying to remove Amazon bias, but when you think that e-commerce and cloud infrastructure TAMs are growing and will keep growing for a long time you can definitely expect Amazon stock to just keep growing. Many areas are expected to bring a lot of revenue (private label, fashion, groceries).

      Jun 24, 2018
    • Amazon SupSupSup
What? I said that the TAMs are growing, not Amazon's market share. If your addresable market grows a company like Amazon is at least expected to keep its share of the market.

Amazon's stock already prices in 10x growth in profits before it reaches Facebook-Google-Apple area PE ratio. Do you really believe much more than 10x profit growth is reasonable?

If you're looking for massive short term gains you'd be better off looking at smaller cap stocks. Obviously more risk involved. New Relic crushed it over the last two years. Axe Capital has consistent gains, but might be out of your capital range.

Why so few Google? Ai is most likely the future, and Google beats every one at that game (waymo, smartest assistant, deepmind, best search, etc). Plus engineering talent at Google is amongst the best.

That's something like 23% per year. I'll ignore non public companies because we don't have the data to make a reasonable guess. Likely: AMZN, AMD, FB. Possible: MSFT, GOOG, NVidia

It is likely that companies FANG won’t grow 50% but the stock would because acquisitions essentially increase the stock value.
