I wanna know what's the minimum amount of time people stay in a company and what drives them to leave it.
11 months , better company- better pay- better work
Hahaha I think I know why you’re asking this question.
I’ve been holding some Tesla stocks for a while hoping you guys can make it better. This post is so sincerely sad I think I’ll sell everything on Monday :-(
Sadly me too. Unfortunately it’s not about the final product which is the best amongst contemporaries but everything which happens in background in car business.
Kevin O'leary, on his one day of employment. He explains the reason why. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MxcGn86fXaQ&t=13
Question is about you. You aren’t Kevin O’Leary.
6 months Government-like bureaucracy and the prospect of a 2x pay with the next employer
5 weeks, the guy who hired me was replaced by total idiot, I went back to the market, got an offer and left. He was trying to stop me by accusing of stealing proprietary info by sending it to myself via gmail (I sent myself couple people phone numbers, it was before smartphones, and I did it like 3 weeks before I quit). It was very compelling argument - stay with us, cause you have some of our employees phone numbers.
4 months. The director of engineering decided we were going to move from cloud to colo with no ops team and 8 engineers total because some bean counters decided we would save money in 5 years.
What's up bruh? They did give me full time after my internship but I did the math and I made 139k in Internship and my full-time base is 120k. Long time California over time pay and lunch pay.
Better offer.
