What’s going on with Uber recruiting?
Had a great phone screen and provided my onsite availability over 3 weeks ago. I had planned on interviewing with various companies and had saved a few options open for uber this week (assuming I’d be able to get at least one of those days). I’m on a tight timeline since I’m interviewing with G, FB, LinkedIn, etc. The recruiter was responsive up until about 2 weeks ago, where I was essentially ghosted (had 1 email response). This is frustrating, but is something going on within Uber, particularly within Eats? 2 YOE TC: 180K

Had no problems scheduling my onsite for ATG
My experience with Uber recruiting has been extremely poor as well. They disappear for weeks and then reply and then go away. I eventually managed to get contact with my potential hiring manager and was able to push things through.
How was the phone screen? Easy/medium?
Two phone screens both easies with a second medium should complete both questions to continue forward
Uber is filing for IPO and they don’t want to hire people during this time perhaps. You can see Left and Slack are also not hiring much lately. Twitter was also silent once they filed for IPO but they were hiring left and right right before doing so.
Amazon also started a push with Amazon Restaurants, which does the same thing. I suspect Amazon targeting them had them fitting themselves currently.
It wasn’t meant to be. Uber is seeing other candidates.
