I located my cash in a wealthfront account, but after half a year I have no gain at all. Is it really normal, was the market so tough? What would you advice me to do with the cash. I am not a specialist on investments but I don't a understand why it is so bad...
Wealthfront invests in foreign and emerging markets, which probably offset any US stock market gain you might have had. Wealthfront is a long term investment, think 10 years plus. It’s not a vehicle for quick turnaround.

Is it normal to have no or negative returns for any given 6 month period in the stick market? Yes, it is extremely common. 0% gain over 6 months doesn't even qualify as rough. You're in for a rude awakening in the next bear market.
Just put it all in VTSAX
Does Wealthfront dashboard shows you your tax liability? They do tax loss harvesting that can offset your taxible income. Still a gain.
