While on an escalator, do you walk or stand?

Just curious.

Stand on the right side should be an option

I apologize for the inadvertent binary escalator discrimination I imposed upon you.

At the airport the other day I was walking towards the escalator with my backpack on and some woman with huge wheeled luggage absolutely raced to get in front of me, blocked the whole escalator, and just stood there.

My heart goes out to you, truly.

It's ok, I still made it to my gate 2min before they closed the doors. Plenty of time. #firstworldproblems

For anyone who put stand - can I ask why?

Because of leg day. Otherwise I take the stairs.

Walk. How lazy can you get?

I walk but if I'm with someone with mobility issues or pain I will stand in solidarity on the right unless I'm in the way like some asshole

Hootsuite AllAbtBsns OP Mar 22, 2018

Yes, this is why I try not to be upset about the standers. They might have an invisible mobility issue.
