Saw a Tesla parked at connector stop. Either a msft or an amazonian. Wondering why Tesla owner taking shuttle? Is it the commute time they worried or electric bill?
For a microsofty you are dumb. Is that normal
Angry there wasn't a dropbox @ maybe?
Maybe they want to socialize with their shuttle mates
More carbon efficient to take a bus. Even a Tesla MPGe when considering how much carbon per MWh produced by the US grid is only around 70-80 (even the leaf is only around 100.) carbon per passenger mile will be much lower on a multi passenger vehicle.
They may work during their commute
Parking in downtown costs money...
There aren’t any Microsoft offices in downtown Seattle anymore
I hate driving around here, and really hate sitting in traffic. Any time I can eliminate those things, what wouldn't I? So much more pleasant to take a bus or train.
It’s free country. Why u care?
There is an observable difference between being curious and caring
I would do it even if I made shit load of money and/or owned any car. I hate driving. Maybe it's just as simple as that?
Or maybe, just maybe, the person had the money for the Tesla but wasn't US native and not yet comfortable with driving? Not to mention parking? And was planning to go out after work with a friend who offered to drive them both and drop the person back to where the car was parked near the connector stop?
Buys a Tesla, not comfortable driving. Nice
Maybe because they don’t want to add miles on their fast depreciating $100k car?
“Fast depreciating”? Compared to other cars? Someone seems salty
Or maybe they don't spend a bogus amount of $ for a car and their 30k car's depreciation rate is much less.
