Why do you like Trump

This is not a troll or a judgemental post. I sencerly would like to know any logical reasons on why you like Trump as President of United States. I'm not so much convinced that he is a great business man= great President. I hear so much of fun stuff about him so would like like to know the other perspective.

I’m racist, enjoy my guns, and make a lot of money.

At least he’s honest

This is why dipshit loser liberals lost the election. Literally the most inept clueless people on earth.

He has a desirable tan.

Trump is pretty nationalist. People who have poor self confidence will contrive pride in abstract and romantic notions like “Country” or “Patriot.” People put blind trust in him as a leader because their own lives are lackluster in some way and he has made openended promises to uphold these abstract symbols of pride. Pride that some people so desperately rely on for the foundations of their own (artificial) self worth.

It’s simply a way to organize people that wouldn’t otherwise be self-motivated enough to organize (except for maybe church). I wouldn’t think too deeply and start to dwell on Trump’s potential self esteem issues, I don’t think there are any. Clearly. Like most highly motivated leaders, he is his own worst critic and likely isn’t truly impacted by any one person’s opinion of him.

^You’re saying that Trump’s nationalism is just a way to organize his supporters who would otherwise be aimless? I’m not sure what your first point is arguing. Also, organize people for what purpose?

TrueCar expbackoff Nov 4, 2018

He's a nationalist. He doesn't know how to do shit unless he's outsmarting everyone which I suspect is unlikely given his track record. He's deserve a praise for that but not so much that he should become a president. He opens a pathway towards serious downfall. Something like Mikhail Gorbachev.

Amazon KHCr70 Nov 4, 2018

Honestly the number 1 reason by FAR whether people admit or not, is simply because he is Republican. The US political system is so bipolar that Trump could shoot a baby and not lose his core support. Similarly Obama could have accepted 500,000 Syrian immigrants and not lost his core support to a Republican candidate

TrueCar expbackoff Nov 4, 2018

I guess that's true. Watched this lately. Interesting. https://youtu.be/qUU2iWxrH2M PragerU (good resource)

I didn’t watch the link but PragerU is EXTREMELY conservative and basically punditry

Not a Trump fan at all. The only thing I can say is that Trump getting elected really put into focus how broken our current two party system is. But I really like this picture and thought I’d share.

Chase fnWL34 Nov 4, 2018

I voted on him to lower the corporate tax rate, which he did. I also like that he is trying to stop China from forcing companies to share intelligence. I just don't understand how people here brag about their compensation but want socialism. If you want ep share your wealth, why not give away all your money.

Sprout Social boognish Nov 4, 2018

My comp is nothing to brag about (150k ote, not swd or swe) by Blind standards but I want to clarify something here. My spouse and I pay higher taxes to support infrastructure, to subsidize health care for others, to contribute to education for our country, etc. Wanting to do those things is not the same as wanting to give all of our money away. We enjoy a dual income home with no children, so we drive nice cars and live in a nice house. We enjoy nice things. We just also want to pay our fair share and contribute meaningfully to the public good. It is possible to enjoy money and to want to help pay for the world we are so lucky to live in. If anything, to us it’s a form of patriotism to pay taxes toward things that benefit those around us.

Then go write checks on your own if you're so damn patriotic and want to contribute to the public good. Thats the thing. You liberals love to use that little argument yet never reach into your pocket book and write a check to the IRS unless its forced. Go write some checks to the local cities road departments for street repair, go write some checks to the local bridge and tunnel authorities on top of your tolls etc. The rest of us however will stick with lower taxes.

I don't particularly have feelings about him as a person or politician. He prevented another 8 years of Obama which I'm deeply thankful for.

Democrats are a few elite globalists at the top. Majority welfare suckers at the bottom. And idiots SJW in between.

Facebook Hgrfhd Nov 4, 2018

This.

Square SQ Nov 4, 2018

Uh you do know that Republicans have a huge number of welfare suckers? Not to mention the core red States get a huge amount of federal aid? The notion that Democrats are the only welfare suckers is grossly ignorant.
