Why does uber never give me rider pass discount?

I have a passenger rating of 4.7 which is ok but that's the only variable I can think of. Everyone I know gets discounts and some don't use lyft either. They sent me a discount back and it was for my previous city. Should I just delete the account and start over new?

Maybe depends on how often you ride? I get either 50% off for a week or $4 off each ride for a week. Week after week. I don’t know if they still have the VIP program but perhaps when you reach a certain number of rides, that increases frequency of discounts you get.

I ride every day at least twice

Can’t seem to find an answer yet but one site I found (thepointsguy - quite reliable I think) notes if you’re an on-time passenger that affects whether you get promotion emails.

Depends on the amount of rides, and on where do you go.

From near South area to mission or financial

Their model assumes you are loyal. Use Lyft more or avoid using Uber for a while. The shitty part of the ML world is that most models (unless explicitly guided) will treat the most loyal customers the worst.

Yes but my friends who never use lyft get discounts

It’s not a single feature model :)

Gotta keep as much $$$ as possible to cover legal fees

You probably ride too much. They gave me it a couple times, then I saved hundreds of dollars and never again.

You saved hundreds? How

Boyfriend was using it to commute to work instead of bus that month. Was unlimited rides for $5 (max of twenty discount). Uber to his work normally 23-27. We spent about 80 more than a bus pass but way less time on the bus, and only about 40 more than paying the toll on our own. Pass fare discount just on that was like 700, plus we used it a bunch for going out.
