applied scientist at Amazon search group in Tokyo
Just passed the applied scientist (probably L4) interview for search group in amazon tokyo. The recruiter will call me about their offer. Any suggestion about the tc, base, and rsu? (phd in cs with 2yoe) I was told that this group was previously a9. How's the wlb there? I heard many tough things about working at amazon. Does it also apply to a9 and applied scientists? Thanks!

Could you share the package you got? Curious about the difference between US and Japan. I got a package of tc 185k for l4 in Boston last year.
I'll have a phone call with HR about the package. How about the tc range in Boston for l4 and l5? I read somewhere in blind that Japan's tc is 75% US. Does the level have a correspondence with the role? My friend is offered l5 position, but for as (not as2).
I’m not sure about the tc range, but I guess the data points on blind are pretty correct.
