Hi peeps ! I am in my first trimester and I dont want to travel during pregnancy. will Deloitte support work from home for the rest of my pregnancy?
Discuss with your project leadership... they can help....
In your first trimester? Probably not. 9 months is a lot of time to spend on the beach collecting a full paycheck (plus whatever maternity leave you request post birth). That said, you’ll need to discuss with your leadership. They may or may not grant your request if it’s not medically necessary. Another option is FMLA if it’s very important you be with family and not travel, but you won’t be paid. They also may require you work at your local office in lieu of working from home, esp. given the circumstances.
She is talking about working remotely. Learn to read.
Vomit at the office desk then they will be ok with you working remote from home :)
There is no policy, if you can convince your PPMD that’s the policy for everything. Don’t ever ask for any policy ever bcoz there is none
Medical condition necessitating working from home for the entire pregnancy?
Nope ! Just want to be with family. And not comfortable travelling with nausea and vomitings
Yeah, my family is pretty awesome. Would be nice to work from home all the time and spend more time with them. Especially being a little worse for wear after staying up late watching football or raging a concert.
