Hi OPT
Hi Dad
Hohoho hi santa
Smh....guys..
Don't travel with expired F1 stamping, it means you will have to get it stamped again, at the risk of a reject. Your University can answer q2 better, I think you don't need to. Yes for Q3. Overall, your University is better placed to answer these questions.
Yeah.....feel that..! But thanks a lot!!
1) Yes. My friend did this 2) No. My wife did this
The said friend become the wife?
Q1) Yes you can renew visa on OPT, I did it, it was pretty straight forward.
@karo23 when you have a chance can you share a interview question in embassy? Thanks
1) yes 2) no, you can apply for H1 as long as your status is valid in US, meaning you can apply for it next year. It has nothing to do with visa expiration. Think visa as the entrance ticket, which doesn’t dictate your duration of stay. 3) no, you can do it in Mexico or Canada, and you can reenter US even if you don’t get a visa. There is a thing called auto-revalidation. But It’s still better to get it renewed at home.
Then if my visa is valid until dec 2019, even officer at my homecountry deny to extend my f1, i should be no trouble to reenter US ? Thanks!
As long as you meet all the requirements listed at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/visa-expiration-date/auto-revalidate.html
