my recruiter got back to me and asked me for my pay expectation to be presented to hiring committee as part of my hiring package, the thing is im not sure what level i would be presented at. i am hoping for pgm l5, have 8 yoe and recently leading a team. does asking the following sound doable? base: 160k bonus: ~20% rsu: 280k / 4 yr? is it too low, too high? i am also hoping to get signing bonus since ill be walking away from my stocks as well. do they typically do signing bonuses for pgm roles? if so, how much? do i need to ask for it?
You can ask for slightly more on base and way more on RSUs

L5 should be close to 300k if not more. For L4 260-280 this per year though
You are in right ball park.. it is not low. Depends a lot on your interview
Thatβs roughly $255k TC. I think you only get 15% bonus as L5, as 20% starts at L6
Oh really? Okay. Maybe I can ask for more rsu. But does that sound fair? Or am I aiming too high/low.
