can I make youtube videos on h1 since we are not allowed any income other than our visa sponsor.. any insights?

You can’t do anything which can generate revenue in $$. You can only work for a revenue generating company for 40 hours a week.
You can create a YT channel and post videos. Can't monetize though. My advice to you is, start the channel, post quality content, increase the subscribers.. if it increases more than 100k subscribers, then you can quit your day job and start monetizing the channel. You will earn more than enough money to buy yourself a green card directly. (Through investments)

Check in youtube itself how much youtubers make. It depends on lot of factors, like who is your targeted audience and quality of your content and etc. If you have 100k subscribers, you can make youtube ad revenue, you can sell your courses, you can recommend products to your audience and get affiliate commission and so many other ways to make money. All you need is to build your brand and audience
But gc can now b bought for 800k minimum. They have increased the cost aka investment from 500k
