paternity leave on a new job
my wife is due in 4 months and im thinking to switch jobs. would i get a paternity leave in amazon/Microsoft/Google if ill join them before the birth?

Of course yes but you should let your team know before you join/accept offer. And you don’t need to take all days off at ounce, you can spread it out throughout the year
You can negotiate it to make sure. I did when I switched companies. They matched my previous company’s pat leave
