i have been reading a lot about Wealthfront and Betterment and was intrigued. right now I am using Personal Capital to manage my money (~500k retirement portfolio), is it worth moving to robo advisors for the smaller fees? Anybody else move a large portfolio over to them?
Try PersonalCapital
I’m using them already. Was wondering if the lower fees is worth it.
I'm using Wealthfront and their returns haven't been great over the past year.
Personal capital charges too much fees, so unless you really benefit from the personal advisor, I would recommend moving to wealthfront
I used betterment. The automatic rebalancing and tax loss harvesting was useful especially as I was able to refer enough people that I had no fees for a year. Since retiring those benefits were no longer useful for me so I moved money back out.
