Manager offered a position at Austin at the same role, same job grade, to join his Austin team; relolation package offered per ASML internal policy. Although a lateral move to a new place, this move should be paid off with a promo and visibility in a couple of yrs once I deliver/perform. Also, no growth at the current location; so, interested to take this offer. Need help from this community - what negotiations I can put in place e.g. comp raise? What else? Thanks a lot! Are you moving from LCOL (eg: customer locations such as Boise or Rio Rancho or AZ)? Austin is significantly more expensive than those I believe. The only possibility to negotiate is cost of living increase now and maybe argue for promo later. It is good that they are offering you the position vs you requesting it. If you have other offers, it will be a different discussion.
