I agree with the perks and identity politics within the org but the office looks like an fancy hospital. The fluorescent light is everything in that office.

My personal experience as a contractor with my new lead is horrible. She’s new to being a manager although very smart on what she does but she lacks on people skill. I cancelled all of my 1:1 because she declines most of my invite or always comes up with a reason. Sure I can make a big deal out of it and let her know that “hey this 30mins is not a lot when you can meet with the rest of my teammates!”. I get support from other people outside of my team but none from her. Also she love micromanaging.
