What would be the salary/total comp for Product Management Director role in India in banks and fintechs like Amex, Visa, Mastercard, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Fiserv Relocating to India and starting negotiation on an offer from one of these firm. TC: 300k; Exp:15 #americanexpress , #jpmorganchase , #wellsfargo , #visa , #mastercard , #fiserv , #productmanager

Director at Amex vs Director at a big bank are different levels. Director at Visa different than Director at Amex. Based on my knowledge (which is limited to only so many sides for India), I’d say Director at a big bank in India is paid most where Visa/Amex not quite same. Expectations/responsibilities at big bank would be higher (e.g., managing 300 people). To compare to USA, Director at big bank like Wells likely 80-90% of USA Directors. That is a king’s ransom in India while just living ok in USA.
