India has equally bad or worse culture, but in most cases the projects in US teams are better. This cannot be generalized for all teams and orgs. You might be able to find good WLB in India as well

A girl in my team is tech youtuber, she works on weekend to create videos. It has nothing to do with culture and time. There are people who work 4 hrs a day and watch Netflix in remaining time
So why amazon is so much called for its bad wlb...

From what I hear from Seattle friends, the culture is a bit worse in India and Seattle has better work. Anyway of you have no choice then just join. Just make sure that you don't trust manager and colleagues and always boast your work.
