I recently got google L4 swe offer. Yoe - 3.5 Previous compensation - doesn't matter Base : 38L Stocks : 112K usd (vesting 38%, 32%, 20%, 10%) Bonus : 15% Joining bonus : 5L Interview feedback - Don't know in full details but yeah mostly hire/strong hire. Had 4 team match calls, said yes to one. Overall process took around 2 months starting from Recruiter call to offer letter email. I really got good insights from these kinds of posts here on blind. Giving back to the community:) #tech #google #offer #india
Isn't Google on freeze?
How did you get an interview with Zeta on your resume? (Seriously asking)
Compensation wise, Zeta was paying good money during the ZIRP. Recruiters and HMs have good idea about which companies are the competitors.
Applied last year as well to google, feedback was good but got stuck in hiring freeze. I think this also might be reason of reaching out by recruiter.
Which team?
Sounds more like humble brag than giving back to the community. If you really wanted to give back then tell us what/how you prepared, got your interview calls, kind of questions asked etc.
Prepared from leetcode, focussed mostly on hard questions. Recruiter reached out. Medium to hard question graph, dp, greedy algorithm, sorting
I am stuck in team match since 5 months without even a single team match call 😏. L5, Bangalore
I guess the bar is higher for L5s. Given that they have more responsibility.
L5 open roles are less in compare to L4 + Lot of people with cleared interviews already in pipeline + Managers are very choosy in selecting L5+ candidate. Even for setting HM call they go deep in past experience and interview feedback. Best of luck, team match step is just not in your/our hand. Try asking your friends working in Google if their team is hiring for L5 this might help
How long you are in zeta? Also, your TC in zeta? Also, all 4 rounds were purely coding? Did you get any common question, which you saw before? Congrats again
Congrats! I assume it's SWE but if you could add this detail
What was the difficulty level of questions? and if you could also tell the type, would help me as well. I have an interview scheduled next week
Medium to hard.
Dp, graph, tree? Were segment trees or suffix trees involved?
