These are employers where they pay above the respective market they are hiring for, especially for senior and above software engineering levels. You won't be disappointed with the offers you get when you show a good performance during the interviews. Some people will object and say some of these "pay shit", unless they come with numbers ignore them. Not in any particular order. Meta - Remote / EU Block - Germany / Ireland Uber - Netherlands Booking - Netherlands Microsoft/Github - Remote / EU Databricks - Netherlands Wayfair - Germany Airbnb - Germany / Ireland Shopify - Germany Nvidia - Germany Google - Germany / *Switzerland ArgoAI - Germany Snowflake - Germany Apple - Germany / *Switzerland Spotify - Remote / Germany Amazon - EU Datadog - Remote / EU Stripe - Remote / Germany / Ireland DoorDash - Germany Elastic - Netherlands Twitter - Remote Confluent - Germany * Switzerland is technically not EU member Let me know in comments if I missed some and I can add it. Note that, TC on its own means nothing if company is shit, wlb is terrible, product is useless, coworkers are jerk or your paper money never turns into a real one. Don't base you interviewing decision just TC, do your own research about companies, product, and teams. #tech #germany #switzerland #netherlands #amsterdam #berlin #zurich #remote #europe #ireland #dublin #block #uber #booking #github #databricks #wayfair #airbnb #shopify #nvidia #snowflake #apple #spotify #amazon #datadog #stripe
Add Elastic and Salesforce in Netherlands. Their TCs are also in the same range. Tbh, techpays.eu has around 1k salary data points in NL, you would never be able to gather so many here
That's not the point of the post anyway. As you can see I didn't mention any numbers. Added Elastic as I know it, not sure about Salesforce.
Ok cool. I just accepted an offer from Salesforce for 180k TC in AMS, dunno if that makes SF eligible for your list
Thanks for the list. I am also interested in the culture and wlb of these companies (in EU/Germany not USA). Can you add them in the post, if you know? Or may be people who work in those companies (in EU) can comment here. Working in a toxic culture and working 10+ hours a day is the last thing I want, does not matter how much they pay. E.g. Meta avg wlb Argo ai bad wlb
Does Palantir hire SDE outside of the UK office in Europe? Only focusing EU. If you are talking about FDE that is a different breed although it pays nicely too. Confluent added.
Can I DM for Palantir referral?
Twitter. HubSpot. Parity
These don't have many data points, (esp last one, never heard of it) please provide some ballpark numbers with the levels
Check on levels https://www.levels.fyi/Salaries/Software-Engineer/Germany/ Companies that pay well in the US pay well in the EU as well
You forgot all the trading companies in Amsterdam. Optiver 200k new grad, IMC 165k new grad, radix trading and jump trading, da Vinci derivatives are there as well but I don't know specific numbers (I just know that they pay top of the market)
Are you including sign on for IMC? I’ve talked with them last year and the expectations were much lower for experienced. Base was 70k ~ 100k + Bonus (according to recruiter it was usually less than 50% base, he didn’t give me any hard numbers)
These are tricky, they pay well but they are mostly performance bonus focused TCS. Individual performance and company annual performance.
Reddit in Ireland, Germany, Netherlands
How much it can go for Sr and staff?
Reddit senior offer germany ~ 200k eur
Zendesk too (Remote / EU)
How much can they offer for senior in EU?
I think it'll depend on the country but I'm personally at 120k€ TC with 4 YoE
i guess yelp pays shit then - 120k€ @3yoe
Ummmm 120k for 3 yoe is shit? Dude you are probably in the top 1% of all IT guys in NL
i was being sarcastic - yelp isnt on the list. its germany tho
How much does elastic pays and how it is when do compared to other companies on the list ?
Check techpays.eu, has a few data points. I am at Elastic now, but not in dev,so probably my data point not helpful to you
Thanks will check it out
Doordash have been also hiring in Germany , looking at their USA number they must be paying decent in germany too.
correct, I forgot them, they are not super aggressive as other US companies though, updated the list.
