[Walmart] Need to be in US for H1B Transfer?

Does Walmart immigration team require the candidate to be in US during the H1B transfer process? I'm planning to travel for a month and interview remotely. Any issues with this? How long after interview start (day 0) does H1B transfer starts? Thanks TC: 230k

For filing transfer application, you need to be in the U.S. once it’s filed, you can leave. It’s not Walmart requirement, it’s USCIS.
