Testing in production is doable if you do it right. But if Twitter was not set up for this and uses traditional staging environments, testing in prod is a recipe for further disaster
That’s almost like suicide ,Andrew Cronje used to test his code on production with more confident and that confident cost $15 million hack .

As far as this Twitter blue thing is considered, what's wrong with testing in production? It's not like people's lives depend it. Pragmatic choice when you are trying to reduce costs.

@Cognizant u must have not worked with prod system. It will affect credibility and user experience. If the system is not stable all the time, it will lose users. Do U really want that?
