Which of the below offers will be best considering the stability of role, company and their future roadmaps? My main concern is the stability and no layoffs being on F1 visa. Both the positions are in AI and Data Center Organization with title being AI Framework Engineer at Intel and Software Engineer AI/ML at Apple. I do want to get into ML specific roles but I am not sure how much ML centric will be these roles. Is Apple safe in ML domain considering they are patterning with Google and targeting gemini as their AI model. I personally think the role and team at Intel is better than that of Apple since it's research team and colleagues are PhDs mostly so it will be a better learning for me. Kindly provide your inputs if you know about the roles. TC : NA (New Grad) YOE : 3 prior to MS #software #engineering #swe
3 YOE looking for new grad positions?
I mentioned prior to Masters
Avoid Intel for ML roles. You will find much more options in Apple if you want something else.
Apple's partnership with Google is just for a few things, and who knows how long that might last (just like they moved from Intel to in-house chips). Apple has more AI/ML going on than just that. Tbh I think both are good options. Either should be really good for future opportunities.
