What is causing the increase in US cancer diagnoses? Quote: New cancer diagnoses expected to hit record high this year New cancer diagnoses in the U.S. are expected to top 2 million for the first time in 2024, driven in large part by an alarming increase in cancers among younger Americans, according to new American Cancer Society data. There have been major improvements in cancer survival, but there's a worrying rise in some cancers at the same time doctors are trying to figure out why they're seeing more young patients with cancer. https://www.axios.com/2024/01/17/new-cancer-diagnoses-record-high

Modern living/environment and better detection. You will see cancer rates go up in other countries over time. My parents used to tell me there is no cancer in India because of diet etc etc. Now as India develops, a lot of their friends have developed various cancers. America is just ahead of the curve.
Both better diagnostics and environmental factors. I think it's pollution, all the micro plastics everywhere. I don't think it's just better diagnostics alone, because these are young people who would go on to develop symptoms in a couple of years while they are still considered young (like colon cancer). This is not like slow growing prostate cancer like every man eventually gets.

The average American is overweight and unfit.
And they eat processed shit and can't even cook an egg.
Probably food. Food coloring and the like isnβt good for your health. Strawberries for example. I buy a bowl of mixed fruit regularly that has strawberries in it. I wait for a few days and saw the strawberries wash away in color. Zero sugar stuff = Phenylalanine
What do you expect with too much packaged foods and eating out

Better diagnostic tests
So your opinion is that the researchers didn't factor improved diagnostic tests into their stats? And that young people have always been getting cancer all along, but somehow it went undetected?
