Anyone work at Huntress Labs that can share what the culture is like and whether it’s worth making the switch? TC: 130K YOE: 2.5
As @fJql62 said, it depends on what you’re doing (analyst, research, sales, marketing, etc.) and at what capacity. Managed can tend to be a bit too overbearing and can hinder creative. The pay for management and sales are typically you’re highest. “Individual contributors” are on the low end of industry standards, especially in a high-paced metrics-based positions. However, the culture at Huntress is like no other. The flexibility, the people.
Can you elaborate on the culture? Am interviewing for a SWE role. Im curious about WLB as I have a baby on the way
The culture is like no other... dysfunctional.
Curious what senior leadership is like - are they legit senior / elt ? Do they have good industry exp?
Legit seniors are told to go against what they know as best practice, correctness, and planning for the future. The company pushes for nothing but quick bandaid solutions and then blames and fires the engineers for leadership's incompetence.
Terrible experience there. Incompetent leadership, toxic two faced messaging. You will get fired and your former coworkers will be lied to about why you left.
This!
Run away
Terrible
Depends what you're doing. I love my team, but sometimes it's really hard to get things done. they pay pretty well, especially with the upcoming tender offer
