Feel free to DM me
Hi can I DM you regarding referal for new grad software engineer role in 2023
I was also thinking about applying for ADP. What’s terrible about them?
Pros - 1) Great WLB 2) Opportunity for growth 3) Overall nice culture and people are kind 4) Company will be relevant for atleast a couple more decades easily Cons - 1) Compensation is average/below average (perception varies obviously) 2) Might have some typical politics that you'd see at a ton of other companies too Overall it's hard to say that ADP is worse or better than any other company because everyone's experience depends on their team and leadership. Personally I love my org and leadership team so I enjoy my work but my compensation could be better. So not the worst thing to interview and see their numbers.
It terrible here, favortism and HRs covering up for the incompetent managers, if you want to deal with that
Lots of better place to work. If you see a company that got in the “best place to work for” but struggle to hire and retain talent. What does that say ?
ADP is a shit hole. Don’t go there. They can’t hire, can’t retain, because they want to push as much as possible to low cost offices and pay as little as possible. If you have a life situation that makes you need to work at ADP it’s fine but senior leadership down, the talent is is a few notches below what you’d find at a comparably sized companies - it’s an extremely reactive company. The only thing going for them is that they’re the 800 lb gorilla in the industry, but that’s changing too. What someone above said is true - favoritism is rampant irrespective of merit.
On the plus side - wLB is great - you can disappear for a week, and because the place is so disorganized they won’t even notice.
I could refer you and feel free to dm me with questions if needed
Dmed you. Would really appreciate your kind help
Your WLB and pay are highly dependent on the location you work at. And don’t buy into the “ADP was awarded best place to work” BS they constantly push. And as someone already said, they are experiencing very high turnover right now. Departments are having a hard time not even just hiring, but also retaining the people they just hired.
